Jury-duty scams
A federal court will not call you and demand money. Gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, and “pay this warrant now” are fraud.
The FBI and the federal courts have said the same thing for years. Hang up. Do not give a Social Security number to a stranger who claims to be a clerk or a U.S. marshal.
Call back only the number printed on the written summons, or the number on that district’s .gov jury page.
Harborline will never call you and ask for payment to cancel a warrant. Our $49 kit, when it is for sale, is a download of blank worksheets.
